All services are offered with the understanding that you have read and are agreeing to these terms.
All my services are offered in line with the ethical and professional guidelines of my membership bodies, namely the British Psychological Society (BPS), the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as well as those of the Health & Care Professions Council (hcpc).
Irrespective of where you are located geographically all contractual agreements and professional services are offered in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes related to my practice will be subject to the laws of this country.
All counselling and psychotherapy, whether offer in person or online, are offered in full respect of your right to confidentiality, and I take all necessary measures to protect privacy. Only in very rare and exceptional circumstances and where there is clear danger to self or other might third parties be informed to promote the safety for all involved. Further details can be found in the Privacy Policy.
Brief clinical notes are kept with the sole purpose of supporting the therapeutic process. These notes are minimal in nature reducing risks to your privacy. They do not provide an account of all session content.
Sessions last 50 minutes. Once a regular booking is in place, missed sessions will normally incur a fee as the appointment time remains reserved and available for you. Advanced notice will be given of upcoming breaks so that disruptions to the therapy process are minimised. I believe that this consistency is essential to create the sort of environment that respects the nature of the therapeutic endeavour.
My fees reflect my very considerable experience in working with individuals and couples and the fact that I combine expertise inherent in bringing together a background in counselling psychology with specialist psychotherapy qualification in both individual, family and couple psychotherapy.
Fees range between £120 and £225. Rates are dependent on location, type of service and time of day. Reduced rates may be available from time to time.
